Art Gallery
The gallery has recently re-launched with an exciting array of original and rare limited edition pieces from some of the UK 's most successful artists. We have a wide selection of contemporary art, in oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolour, on both paper and canvas.
We are currently exhibiting a number of original works by the hugely talented and successful Nikky Corker and Janet Rogers, both with distinctly differing styles, both equally eye-catching and each with a timeless appeal. Nikky's seascapes, townscapes and landscapes in her distinctive colour pallet and sweeping motion will entrance, while Janet's stunning mixed media abstracts will intrigue. In both cases, we have more stock than we can exhibit so please be sure to ask if you'd like to see more.
Local artists include Sarah Masters, whose stunning oils and collages are currently on display; and Elliot Bennett, whose local Battle scenes portrayed in monochrome watercolour are must-sees. Dannielle Konyn's beautiful flowers on canvas, and Sue Smiths' poppy fields are ever popular.
Rosslyn Ruiz provides vivid, stop-you-in-your-tracks acrylic cityscapes on both paper and canvas, along with her fascinating and intricate silk-like mixed media spider webs (most definitely no spider!).
A recently acquired stock of rare, limited edition prints has proved an immense draw. Most of them now out of retail circulation, these fine art prints offer unending appeal to the collectors' market. As part of this collection, which includes works by MacKenzie Thorpe, Govinder and Sir William Russell Flint, we carry a large selection of wildlife by acclaimed artists such as David Shepherd, Gary Benfield, Spencer Hodge and Alan Hunt.

We also have a selection of locally hand thrown, fired and decorated pottery by local ceramist, Willo, in our display cabinets. Willo works out of her home studio overlooking the Sussex downs and has produced a stunning collection exclusive to Saffron.
Greetings cards are provided by the mischievous Ann Edwards; cat loving Diane Elson and Gordon Hutson; prints from Graham Clarke's etchings, the colourful watercolours by Wendy Yeo;, and hand made animal prints from Dana. We now have a new collection of stunning local scenic cards provided by Michael George.
We can commission original watercolour pet portraits on your behalf from a successful and respected local artist. Dana has the ability to capture, with uncanny accuracy, the character and form of animals and has constantly impressed our clients with her work. She took her first commission at the age of 14 and has never looked back.
For visitors, we can arrange worldwide postage at cost, although our wide range of mounted-only art is perfect for packing away and framing once you get home.
